Holiday Card Time!

Yay it's that time of year again time to start thinking about what you will send off in the "snail mail" to all your friends and relatives.  I just love cards ESPECIALLY Holiday Cards they are such a nice surprise in your mail box and a great way to keep tabs on everyone. My husband and I recently purchased a new house so I am so excited to send out our Holiday cards this year with a New address!

If you aren't hand making making your cards this year, here is a site that I Highly recommend, they have such ADORABLE selections and you can easily personalize all of them. They are all printed on lovely luxe heavy paper, professionally typeset and offer exclusive designs,  I have no idea how to choose from all of these styles!

The Happy Hoying's!

My long time friend Kelly married a wonderful man Mike and these had one heck of a shin-dig inclusive of square dancing, roll on the barrel polka and oh yeah a Full Volleyball team! It was so much fun to have all of us college sweethearts all back together for one FUN filled night (even if some of us can't really remember some of the evening, LOL) Love these little ladies so much! Here are a few snap shots of the Hoying extravaganza!

Now it is On to November!
I Love this month because Thanksgiving is involved
and I live for all of the yummy fall Thanksgiving food!

Here is my "Thrifty Thursday" idea for you for Thanksgiving:

Turkey Cookies

1. Start with a fresh baked cookie base, I used chocolate chip because it is my favorite
2. Let cookies cool for a few moments while on the pan
3. With the large part of the reese's cup down, add a reese's cup to the middle of each cookie
4. The place four candy corns behind the reese's cup like feathers
5. I cut a peanut in half for the legs and used a bit of the candy corn for a beak
