31 Bits.

I am in love with these jewelry collections and they have such a great purpose and background! The designs are great for any season, I am pretty sure I want 1 (or 2) of each design!!

About 31 Bits:
Kallie Dovel, traveled to Uganda in the summer of 2007, getting a first- hand look at life in Northern Uganda. While she was there, she met women making paper beads but who lacked a plan to market and sell them. After spending time in their homes and hearing their stories, Kallie knew there had to be a way to give opportunities to her new friends. She brought a box of jewelry back to the U.S., and spent the next year finishing her degree and dreaming up the concept of a development organization. She brought a few friends on board and her ideas quickly evolved into 31 Bits. The girls traveled back to Uganda in August 2008, and selected six women to begin buying jewelry from on a monthly basis. Since then, we have grown to 99 women; each with a unique story of suffering that has been overcome with joy and liberation.

Monday Funday!

Monday's are the best day's for me, I work most Saturday's so Monday's are my "Sunday" so in essence Monday is always my relaxing Funday! Today was especially Fun because it also happened to be Labor Day! So my wonderful husband was home with me as well- yippee! We started the day by meeting some friends for a Labor Day Parade, there is something about a parade that makes you feel like a little kids again...

We later headed to dinner at our friends house to meet a new little addition to their family "Millie" or AKA Millie-Vanillie, she is a golden-doodle and just cute as a button!!

We ended our fun filled day by watching the sun go down over the river at our house, we live across the street from the river and the sunsets are just breathtaking, this was a Beautiful day and perfect start to the week!
